ArtCraft Download: How to Get Every App Safely

There are three official ArtCraft download sources, and you do not need any others. The seven crafting apps are listed at getartcraft.com/apps. The page at getartcraft.com/download is the ArtCraft AI studio installer, not that app list. The ArtCraft Launcher, version 0.2.0 in the craft-launcher repository, can install every app and update it later.

Each app also has releases under the storytold account on GitHub. Those three are the list recorded on Oct 11, 2026. Bookmark getartcraft.com before you search for an installer. Type getartcraft only as that name, then confirm the address is getartcraft.com before you click a file. A GitHub release is the right ArtCraft download when you want one app and its checksum in the same place. The launcher is the better path when you want several apps kept current without a manual visit to each release. PhotoCraft is the app most people fetch first. The PhotoCraft download described in its README includes signed Windows MSI and portable zip builds for x64, arm64, and x86, a signed and notarized universal macOS DMG, and Linux AppImage, Flatpak, deb, rpm, and tar.gz packages. Other apps may not ship that identical set. Open the release for the app you mean. For this editor, keep the README beside any ArtCraft download instead of guessing a filename. The catalog of all seven apps is on getartcraft.com/apps.

The picker asks two questions, and you can correct both. It guesses Windows x64, Windows ARM, macOS, Linux x64, or Linux ARM from the browser. Then you choose an app, with PhotoCraft selected by default. The card recommends a package type rather than a made-up filename.

On Windows that type is an MSI. On macOS it is a universal DMG. On Linux it is an AppImage, then a Flatpak, then a tar.gz when the earlier types are missing. That card is an ArtCraft download pointer to a GitHub asset. PSDraw does not serve the file. The card shows a checksum when the release provides one. Otherwise it tells you to see SHA256SUMS.txt on the release page. If live data fails, use the official download page and the releases link instead of a guessed name. Pick the ArtCraft download for the computer in front of you, even if a friend sent a different build.

Verify your ArtCraft download by comparing it with SHA256SUMS.txt from the same release. Take the sums file from that release page, not from a blog that pasted a hash. Compute the SHA256 with your operating system's checksum tool, then compare the result with the matching line.

This page does not publish a sample hash. A copied hash is how fake pages pretend to be thorough. A match means the ArtCraft download bytes are the bytes the project published. It does not mean the app has left alpha. PhotoCraft v0.7.0 was the current release on Oct 11, 2026 UTC and was still early alpha. A mismatch means delete the file and fetch the release again. Do not repair a mismatch by turning security warnings off. As of Oct 11, 2026, PhotoCraft also showed 44,228 stars, which identifies the repository, not the safety of a random file.

Keep the installer and the sums file together until the check passes. The launcher installs from the project and updates later, which helps if you do not want to handle checksum files yourself. You can still open the underlying release and check it. The GitHub account should be storytold. If SHA256SUMS.txt is missing, do not borrow a hash from a different ArtCraft download.

A warning on macOS or Windows does not, by itself, prove that an ArtCraft download is fake. The PhotoCraft macOS build is a signed and notarized universal DMG. Its Windows MSI and zip builds are signed. Gatekeeper and SmartScreen still warn about a new publisher.

Confirm the source and the checksum first. Only then use the operating system's own open or run control. On a Mac, right-click and choose Open, or use the system setting that allows an app you just verified. That is the usual Gatekeeper path. Do not install a third-party bypass tool. On Windows, SmartScreen's More info control, then Run anyway, is the usual path for a signed file you already checked. Skip that click if the checksum failed or the domain was wrong. These are general steps. Dialogs change, and a tutorial that shows fifty screenshots goes stale.

Apple Silicon does not get a separate Mac package in the PhotoCraft README. The universal DMG is the ArtCraft download that covers Apple Silicon and Intel. A Windows ARM PC is different. Choose the arm64 MSI or zip, not the x64 file. Linux ARM should use the ARM package the release actually contains. Let the checksum decide whether this ArtCraft download may run. If the picker and the release asset list disagree, trust the release.

Avoid any ArtCraft download that is not on getartcraft.com or on github.com/storytold. A fake page often buys an ad, copies screenshots, and offers one setup file with no checksum. The domain is the tell. If it is not the official site, close it.

PSDraw will not send you an installer. A news article is not a download button.

The short name getartcraft should show up as getartcraft.com in the address bar. Leave the tab if you cannot tie the file to a real ArtCraft download. A page that tells you to disable antivirus before any hash check is not following the project release process. The real release publishes SHA256SUMS.txt and, for PhotoCraft, signed or notarized packages. Start over from the official download page if you already ran a file from somewhere else.

Tell a friend the same rule. Search ads are not a source. The launcher repository and the app releases are. An ArtCraft download guide that never sends you to those places is not this one. Early alpha is a reason to keep backups of your own files. It is not a reason to open a build that arrived as a forum attachment. When you want updates later, return to getartcraft.com or to the launcher repository.
